Today I will be filming for the first time. Due to the fact that my cameraman has a family and children, We had to organise about 8 hours today where we could go out and film as much as possible. I looked back at my mise en scene page to double check for costume that would be needed for filming.

Then came filming, It took about 30 minutes to travel to the location which was really exhausting as we carried around our equipment. I set up the camera for the shots and my Brother-In-law helped with filming aswell as some ideas for shots. Although I was the main actor, I had full control over the shots and set up and checked every shot before we began filming.

After day 1, we had filmed about the first 2 minutes of the film and started to sort through the footage that evening. Although we had a storyboard and script, we did additional shots so that editing could be easier and more interesting. Additionally, Prior to this, I had purchased a Canon 700d camera which I have been experimenting with for afew months prior to shooting. Doing this taught me about the settings on a camera such as how the shutter speed, iso and aperature can affect the quiality of footage.
