Setting & Location
Due to th fact that I am creating a horror/thriller short film, I decided to use isolated areas which would fit into the genre of 'horror'. I decided to use a river as it is oart of my story but is also very isolated and creepy, A bridge that looks gritty and intimidating and other locations such as a underpass. All of these locatios are very isolated and have conotations for fear, therefore I think these settings/location's will be successfull.

Costume, Hair & Make-Up
For costume, hair and make up, I wanted to keep it as simple as possible but I did really think about colours I could use and what they could portray to the audience and represent. I was inspired by sin city, therefore, I chose 2 bold colours Red and Blue to really stand out. The 2 characters in my film will start out wearing red - Representing danger and the fact that they are both equal as human beings. Later, the character will then then change into a blue t-shirt which represent sadness. snd show a contrast between th character in the first and last part of the film.
Positioning Of Characters
As there is only 2 characters, the only time they are together is in the opening. I want to position them very far apart, representing the disconnection between them as they are strangers. Other then that, I would like to use lots of long shots to connote isolation and close ups, to denote facial expression to the audience.

Facial Expression
As I am making a horror short film, some facial expressions that come to mind are ; Scared and shocked. Although, I do not want the film to be very dramatic and over the top therefore the most reslistic facial expressions for my story are also ;Sadness, regret and in deep thought.
Props
The props I would need include;
- A Newspaper ( I plan to use photoshop and a green screen to make my own newspaper which would have relevant headline to my story)
- Phone (The first scene in which the characters are introduced)
- Hedphones
- Stones ( For the little girl to throw into the water)
