For my final idea, i have decided to stick with the 80's Horror style. This is because I am a huge fan of classic horror films - I like the atmospheric synth music, as well as the use of eerieness to scare people over todays horror films which just use jumpscares. I think this will benefit me additionally because I will be making the film on a low budget, therefore, if I were to attempt special effects and generic horror conventions, it would not be effective.
In terms of storyline, I would like to explore soething thought provoking and creepy - I want the audience to be uncomfortable but also think about the subject matter.
I have been inspired to make a film about Guilt taking human form and following somebody until they face it. I got this inspiration from the feature length film 'It Follows (2014) as well as the short film 'Love/Hate (2009).
It follows had a physical representation of something that was up to audience imagination and Love/Hate had a representation of 'Hate' in humanoid form
