I have thought of some situations that could happen in which the protagonist of my film witnesses a death of a young girl and does not help. They include;
- A Carcrash
- Drowning
- A Fire
- Being Run Over
From these, I carefully thought about my locations and I decided that drowning at a river would be the easiest to do and also quite effective. I am going to use a young girl, firstly because, My niece is 7 years old and can be used as an actor and additionally because the death of children is quite a taboo subject, although it is something that does happen. I have decided that the aim of my film is to show people to be brave and heroic, and help others as if you know you could have helped, you would feel complete regret.
At this point, I am very happy with what I have so far as I have developed my story to be meaningfull, like how short films usually are, whilst also imagining horror elements. Other further inspirations have been through my analysis of the short film 'Love/Hate' in which two emotions are physicalised in a persons head and 'The Babadook' - A feature length horror film in which a womans depression is personified as a monster.
