2. Further Idea's & Development

Since my last post, I have been researching 80's horror ambient music to gain inspiration and from further research on this website, I have finalised my idea.

I am going through with the idea of the character being followed by a representation of their guilt. I chose this over my other main idea as I think that it has much more meaning and can be made to have a thought provoking ending which will hopefully shock audiences and start converstion. This, in my opinion, is what short film is all about.

At this point in time, I have not completely thought of a situation that can happen, causing the character to feel the guilt as again, I am keeping into consideration, the locations that are available, actors and things that just wont work in my opinion. For example, I can easily create an explosion using Photoshop and after effects but as I am not eperienced at all inspecial effects, I do not want to take the risk of it being unsuccesfull.

However, I would like to push myself and eperiment with a green screen. Whilst thinking of this, I imagined creating my own newspaper article (detailing the unfortunate event that took place in the film) and editing it onto the screen via. a greenscreen. Additionally, I would also like to experiment with using a green screen with other scenes as i am also inspired by sin city and want to experiment with making my film in black and white with certain colours standing out.

From this point, I am focusing on trying to piece together a story that makes sense but also is abit controvercial and thought provoking.
